OPENING THE DOOR TO EXCELLENCE IN MULTISENSORY TEACHING:THE ORTON-GILLINGHAM APPROACH
 
The Academy is holding its annual conference at Havergal College in Toronto, Canada. The program will begin Friday afternoon and will conclude early Saturday evening.
 
Special Feature: Saturday, April 24,  – Gavin Reid, Ph.D. will present the keynote address on
Effective Learning and Motivation - Ideas and Strategies for Independent Learning. 
 
Ron Yoshimoto will be holding an Orton-Gillingham master class
A Math Symposium will be given by Marilyn Wardrop, Canadian Academy of Therapeutic Tutors (O-G) – Multisensory, Structured and Hands-On. 

Session topics will include adapting the curriculum, grammar and writing skills.
