Speech and language assessment and therapy for children with
communication difficulties. Individual and small group programs run
year-round, Monday - Saturday, evenings included Monday - Thursday.
The Ontario Camping Association (OCA) has played an important
leadership role in promoting and encouraging children’s and youth
camping in Ontario. The OCA is a voluntary, non-profit organization
that draws its membership from camps, individuals and like-minded
organizations and agencies, all devoted to maintaining high standards
for organized camping, and to sharing information and ideas that
maintain these standards.
The Oakville Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing
a diverse range of culture, leisure and open space opportunities, which
preserve and enhance the quality of life for present and future
generations. We have adopted a community development approach, which
enables us to work in partnership with the community to identify and
fulfill the needs of individuals and community groups.
We offer recreational programs for all ages including aquatics, fitness programs, skating and special needs.
We offer recreational services including programs like fitness,
instructional, summer camps and special events, etc.. We offer aquatics
including instruction, recreational swimming, etc.., We offer
facilities including three arenas, several community centres, art
gallery, etc.. and parks.
We offer many programs for all interests including our new youth club
Velocity, camps and school break programs, music, skating, swimming and
special needs programs. We also provide support to a number of
community groups and assistance to residents through the provision of
specialized services.
