Summit Learning Centres
Summit Learning Centres Inc. is an Ontario based company that has been operating since 2001. Summit has since grown to 15 learning centres in 14 cities throughout Ontario and has just recently began offering innovative after school learning programs for elementary, high school and college students.
Summit"s programs are based on the Ontario Curriculum and complement what students are already learning in their regular school classrooms. Each student starts by undergoing a free assessment to determine their strengths and weaknesses in either language arts or mathematics. The results of the one-hour assessment are used to help Education Co-ordinators create a plan that is specifically suited to that student"s needs.
Every detail of a student"s program is planned out, whether the majority of the tutoring will be visual, auditory, written or a combination of methods to ensure that each program is geared to the student's individual learning styles.
