The college is a governing body established by the provincial government to regulate the practice of occupational therapists in Ontario. Its mission is to protect the public interest by regulating practice, facilitating ongoing competency of its registrants and continually improving its own operation.
Training Experience:
The college is governed by a Council, the group is ultimately responsible for meeting the college's mandate. It consists of occupational therapists elected by peers, and public representatives appointed by the provincial government. Together they participate in all Council and Committee activity.
