Through The Integra Program offered at the Child Development Institute, the (LDAH) is offering a repeat presentation of the Walk Mile in My Shoes workshop.
Workshop description: This is an experiential workshop that is designed to give participants an understanding of what it may feel like to have a Learning Disability by engaging in a series of activities. Through these exercises, participants will gain knowledge about current thinking in the field of and a practical understanding of how LDs may affect mental health and everyday life at home and at school.
Who should come?: Workshops are primarily designed for parents/caregivers of children with . Family and community members, educators, counsellors and any other interested adults are welcome.
